<h3>Project Objectives</h3>
<p>While working at Brook Bell Interactive I noticed that the website was strong but the portfolio was dated and needed a complete overhaul. The objective was to build a robust, user-friendly and dynamic portfolio that could be updated simply and cater to a multitude of visitors, from someone with no knowledge of direct online marketing to an in-house marketing director. I suggested WordPress as a solution to this issue, since it dynamically updates navigation and allows any number of ways to tag or categorize a portfolio piece, which would let the viewer pick and sort the work the way they intuitively saw fit.</p>
<h5>The Landing Page</h5>
<div id="smallport"><a href="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/landing-page.jpg" rel="lightbox[674]"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-676" title="Portfolio Landing Page" src="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/landing-page.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="642" /></a></p>

<h3>Project Objectives</h3>
<p>Conde Nast Publications decided they were going to develop a Magazine Gift Card Program. They asked Brooks Bell Interactive to design and develop the user experience for both the purchase path and the gift redemption path. They wanted to convey that the gift giver and gift recipient were involved in a luxury brand. I was the senior designer for this project and was responsible for all visual elements developed.</p>
<h5>Gift Purchase Path</h5>
<p>Conde Nast Publications has little brand recognition compared to their magazine titles, which gave us the opportunity to start from scratch visually. I wanted to combine elegance and exclusivity with a smooth, enjoyable user experience.</p>
<div id="contentbottom"></div>
<div id="smallport"><a href="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/cnp_home.jpg" rel="lightbox[185]"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-291" title="Conde Nast Publications Gift Card Campaign" src="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/cnp_home.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="518" /></a></p>
<div id="buttonenlarge"><a href="#">Click IMAGE to Enlarge</a></div>
</div>
<div id="projecttext">
<h3>Project Strengths &amp; Solutions</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lush, vibrant design that started to brand the Conde Nast Gift Card Program</li>
<li>Used a flash plugin to allow consumer to view all options available</li>
<li>Site was so successful that it lead to business from other departments within the Conde Nast Corporation.</li>
</ul>
</div>
<h5>Gift Redemption Path</h5>
<div id="smallport"><a href="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/cnp_gift_new.jpg" rel="lightbox[185]"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-608" title="Conde Nast Give Card Redemption Site " src="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/cnp_gift_new.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="558" /></a></p>
<div id="buttonenlarge"><a href="#">Click  IMAGE to Enlarge</a></div>

<div id="projecttext">
<h3>Project Solutions</h3>
<p>Design conveyed the feeling that the gift was a luxury item</p>
<ul>
<li>Flash plugin allowed browsing of all titles to choose from in a quick fun way</li>
<li>Clean professional layout gave validation to a new program without a lot of brand equity</li>
</ul>
</div>
<h5>Conde Nast Gift Card Thank You Cards</h5>
<p>Conde Nast wanted the gift recipient to be able to send a thank you card via email to the gift giver. I developed two website branded options.</p>
<h5>Thank You Card 1</h5>
<div id="smallport"><a href="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/greetingcards31.jpg" rel="lightbox[185]"><img src="http://waitecreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/greetingcards31.jpg" alt="" title="Thank You Greeting Cards" width="500" height="333" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-775" /></a></div>
